Straw Blankets/Erosion Control Blankets are among the many types of erosion control blankets available.  Straw Blankets provide temporary protection and erosion control for seed and soil from many elements such as rain, wind and even animals.  Straw fibers are made into a blanket to aid in the deep root growth of vegetation from newly seeded areas such as slopes, ditches and flat areas.

Single Net Straw Blankets have netting stitched onto the topside of the straw fibers.

Double Net Straw Blankets have netting stitched to both the top and bottom sides of the straw fibers.  This adds additional protection against erosion.
